Today’s cocktail is inspired by the well-known dessert, Bananas Foster, and while I’m not a huge fan of bananas, this was amazing! My first attempt led to curdling, so be careful as to the order you pour the liquor/liqueur which I specify in the recipe.
And the reason I’m kind of late in publishing today is because I wanted to do something different photographically, which was inspired by the food and still life photography of Dina Belenko. If you’ve not seen her work, you absolutely need to because this photo is nowhere close to being as wonderful as hers – her photography is pure magic.

In a 12 oz glass filled with crushed ice, pour 1 oz spiced rum, ½ oz butterscotch schnapps, and 1 oz banana liqueur in that order to reduce the risk of curdling.
Top with heavy cream.
Serve with a straw.
