Creamsickle

I think the last time I was on a boardwalk, I had a creamsicle and remember it being heavenly. Granted, this was in Disney World, but hot and sweaty and muggy stuff calls for a tasty treat. And granted, it’s currently January, but give me a break – fond memories call for good drinks regardless of season.

I once visited Disney World in February, which I highly recommend to anyone if you can swing it – I was able to ride Space Mountain 6 times straight without waiting. Each time I felt like I was going to be catastrophically decapitated, and they’d have to pull sinew and bone off the rails to stuff into a shorter-than-normal coffin. That might not sound like fun, but it was exhilarating! Nothing makes you appreciate life more than the threat of a horrible and terrifying death.

Anyway, back to boardwalks… I wonder how sea creatures feel about being close to tasty treats and not being able to consume them, so I gave this little guy his chance to try a delicious cocktail inspired by one of my favorite summer treats… in the middle of winter….

Don’t judge me – I love you!!!
