Orange Hot Chocolate

Last night was interesting weather-wise, and for the first time in a few years, there was/is actual ice. Thankfully, I’m warm and cozy inside with my cup of homemade dark hot chocolate that was quick (cos I’m lazy) and vegan (cos dairy and I aren’t the best of friends), and of course, it helps to add some orange liqueur because winter time is citrus time.

So here is what today is shaping up to be in all of its glorious silence:

Hope you stay warm and enjoy this quick quote from Zoolander!

J.P. Prewitt: I’m a hand model, mama. A finger jockey. We think differently than the face and body boys… we’re a different breed.

Recipe:

Chop 20g of dark chocolate (2 squares of the Lindt variety) and scrape into a large mug with 1 cup of vanilla soy milk.

Microwave on medium power and stir every 20-30 seconds until the chocolate is melted and thoroughly combined.

Pour 2 oz of Cointreau.

Serve with a spoon.
