Frosted Flakes Martini

I’ve been toying with the idea of making a cocktail inspired by Frosted Flakes and was at a loss as to how to do it until I considered making it as a martini that was inspired by the tasty cereal.

And thank goodness it finally came to me because the box was getting pretty low! Darn props always getting eaten…

Anyway, while this drink isn’t as sweet as most of my cocktails, it’s quite tasty and slightly unusual. It’s not crazy unusual, but I’ve not encountered a martini like this although I wouldn’t be surprised if someone’s done it.

Frosted Flakes Martini @

Shake or stir 1 oz vodka, 1 ½ oz wedding cake vodka, and ½ oz bourbon with ice.

Strain into a martini glass.

White sprinkle rim is optional.

  1. At first, I thought the frosted flakes was going to be somehow mixed or topped with the drink. Interesting. I guess the wedding cake vodka adds the bit of sweetness? I’ve never had wedding cake vodka before. I am curious to see your cabinet where you keep all your booze. You must have practically EVERYTHING!

    • The bourbon is for the corn, the wedding cake vodka is for the frosting, and the vodka is the base of the martini.

      And I was just talking about never having had wedding cake vodka till I started this blog and bought it because I was going quite a few cake-inspired cocktails but was missing a certain cake-y-ness. The wedding cake vodka works great for that!
