I have missed the past 2 days of posting which means making 3 posts in 1 day. yay.
The reason for missing 2 days is because I’m terrible at estimating just how long it takes to clean the house, and Friday was a progressive dinner with a few neighbors – we were second course which meant making a dish and making sure the house wasn’t gross. We thankfully managed to pull it off, but now I’m not entirely sure where everything is because at the end things got put… somewhere.
Anyway, this is the first post to make up for the missed days, and this cocktail is inspired by Chocolate Bourbon Pie. There’s quite a lot of bourbon flavor, but it’s sweet enough to take the edge off.

In a 12 oz glass filled with crushed ice, pour 1 oz bourbon and 1 oz creme de cacao.
Top with cream soda.
Serve with a straw.
