I think we’ve had our bottles of tequila since we got married in 2009 which is unfortunate because we both love margaritas, and it’s about time to rectify abandoned tequila in the liquor cabinet!
This cocktail is super easy and works almost exactly like a normal margarita. The only difference is substituting grenadine for triple sec, and boom! Tasty! No need to buy pomegranate juice or anything. Just normal stuff you’d find at the liquor store and grocery store.
The only caveat is to use high quality grenadine because this drink involves only 3 ingredients so each ingredient matters.

In a 12 oz glass with chunky ice, pour 1½ tequila and ½ oz grenadine.
Add the juice of half a lime.
Garnish with a lime wedge or quarter. Alternatively rim the glass with salt or sugar.
