I’m getting itchy to buy a ton of plants and have spent a good chunk of today rummaging through eBay, Plant Delights, and my new favorite, J&L Orchids. I’ve not actually purchased from J&L, but they have a nice selection of miniature orchids. Ok, so I’ve not actually grown miniature orchids or really any orchid, but I’m completely and totally intrigued!
There’s one in particular that I feel that I NEED IN A BAD WAY, and it’s the Chiloschista segawae. It’s completely leafless and does this wonderful cascade of roots. The flowers are pretty, but I think I’d get it for this tightly woven squid effect. I’m a bit nervous getting any orchids, but I’ve been having some pretty good success with indoor plants lately and feel it might do well in our shower.
Anyway, that’s all a bit off topic… Today’s alcoholic treat is a Nutella jello shot because it just had to be done.
Sort of like I just have to get a few miniature orchids.
