Lebkuchen

Regardless of it being March, one of my favorite treats around Christmas is the deliciously spiced, sweet, and slightly lemony German cookie, lebkuchen. It’s crunchy and loads of fun to eat, and in my opinion, it’s far superior to typical gingerbread cookies that abound during the holidays. I particularly loved the ones my aunt would make and send to us, and I’m pretty sure I ate entire tins of them.

Today’s cocktail is inspired by those cookies, and if you’ve never made them or had them before, you can check out this recipe.
