My mother actually requested a dill pickle cocktail, and I was at a bit of a loss as to how to do one. On the latest trip to the liquor store, I came across a bottle of cucumber vodka, and I guess the rest is history.
This cocktail is a bit like a dirty martini, but instead of olive juice and vodka or gin, there’s pickle juice and cucumber vodka. Not all that crazy, right?
It’s strong as you might expect, but maybe my pinkie needs a bit of a rest anyway…

Shake 3½ oz of cucumber vodka and a splash of dill pickle juice with ice.
Strain into martini glass.
Garnish with a baby dill pickle or a sprig of dill.
